A Day to Pause & Reflect: 5/14 Day of Remembrance

Greetings,

It has been three years since the mass shooting that killed 10 people and injured three others at our local Tops Market. I still struggle to put the words together…and the impacts of that traumatic day continue to remind me why it is so important to have a resource such as the Black Wellness Directory.

There are many events, ceremonies, prayers, and spaces of support that have been put in place to create space in honor of those who lost their lives and to uplift the family members that are still grieving the loss of their loved ones. In the spirit of harambee, we all must continue to pull together and take care of one another.

Please take the time to take care of yourself during our 5/14 Day of Service & Remembrance.

With care and commitment,
